I studied German in college and lived one year in Germany, but after only 6 months of studying Lao at the Journey Center my Lao language level had already surpassed my German! The methods used to teach Lao at the Journey Center are effective and engaging. I found myself enjoying each lesson and leaving excited to practice and learn more. Their flexibility and willingness to teach according to my needs was incredibly helpful for me as I worked as a teacher at the Lao university and often needed to use a very specific genre of vocabulary. I’m so incredibly thankful I had the opportunity to study at the Journey Center and am so proud of how far I have come on my language learning journey with them!
